Invited by @ulises_400, we have been performing a new version of It comes from the heart at @zentralwaescherei Zürich as part of the durational installation/performance project „XTC“ curated by @workoutjazz .
We’ve been cooking some baroque boom boom, preparing ourselves for a noisy night, like a «jackhammer in a sauna». It’s been limbs and faces, clavichord, wires, broken dances and desires. Welcome to togetherness in the unknown, «pretty strangeness into [our] bodies».
XTC :
Somewhere between Street Parade and Zwingli’s phantom we find ourselves on the spectrum rejoining bodily and spiritual ecstasy. 8 performers from different disciplines and backgrounds contribute to a long durational performance and installation that will be embedded in the club event TILT at Zentralwäscherei Zürich.
Longer pieces and shorter interventions exploring the manifold facets of the XTC spectrum in all its intensities will unfold throughout the night. Expect eerie drones, eclectic drums, breath and voice, moving and standing bodies, clavichord, organ and strobe lights. The audience is invited to explore and experience the happening in different ways.
