In the game of catch, achieving the location which goes by the name Coitos is a momentary victory; it means not getting caught and being able to catch… your breath before returning to danger to help those who were not as fortunate. In the universe of CTR (Composition in Real Time) we call this place the OUT(FORA): Going out is to step back, aside, to be able to have a wider visibility on what is happening. It’s also to remove oneself from the event that is sufficient without us. Out is a place to reflect.
During the five days of residence at Malaposta, we (Nirvan & Chloé) will depart from the understage space, to study CTR from the perspective of a counter intuitive device in which the interior of the square is Coitos, the OUT, and everything that surrounds it is the event, our playground, the IN. The study and development of the conditions of this device will be the object of our research.
